Tyneside Numismatic Society Chairman made an appearance in the November 2016 edition of Coin News. Richie had bought a charity lot at the 2016 AGM for The Banknote Society of Scotland. The lot was a reproduction of the of the PUDSEY design used on the Bank of Scotland charity PUDSEY £5 note. The reproduction was produced by the original designer of the design, 12-year-old Kayla Robson.
Richie kindly paid £105 for the design with the proceeds donated to Children in Need. In the picture below (originally in Coin News), Richie looks delighted with his purchase!
